The ZOO

Mike has been building a rock wall in our backyard, and was planning on doing that all day Monday (Memorial Day) but the bobcat got a flat tire, so I talked Mike into taking us to the Zoo. We had a lot of fun, mainly just being able to be with Mike. It's rare that we get to go and do something with "daddy". Alex was happy to have his dad spend a day with us. We got up that morning and headed to the Zoo. Alex loved the monkeys. There were these two monkeys that kept on running and tackling each other. Every time they would tackle one another, Alex would laugh. It was pretty funny to watch. We got to see "melman" the giraffe. He loved the Choo-Choo Train. We just had to ride the Choo-Choo. We went to Discovery Land and he played on the slides and I got some cute pictures of him in the Egg. It was very nice to have a family day and enjoy one another. Thanks Mike for making that possible.
