We'll Miss You Skidz!

Well this post is a little late in coming but Mike and I decided to sell Skidz. It was just too much with two dogs and him always growling at Alex and having to go outside two or three times during the night. I got an email from a lady Tina who was interested in Skidz, but decided to go with a female dog instead. I was sad because Tina was just perfect for Skidz and would take good care of him. Well, the next day, I got a call from Tina saying that she had this friend Ellen who was looking for a dog and saw a picture of Skidz and just fell in love with him. She told me that Ellen was looking for a small dog who could be her companion and keep her company. That night Tina and Ellen came out to meet Skidz. Ellen fell in love with him instantly. Ellen is single and lives alone and would be perfect for Skidz as well as Skidz for her. That night she took Skidz home. The next day I was at Hobby Lobby and ran into Tina (Tina lives in Murray and I live in Saratoga Springs), of all people, all places we ran into to each other and she told me that Ellen and Skidz are doing great. Skidz follows Ellen everywhere and is just right by her side. That made me happy to know that he is happy. Then not even ten minutes later, I get a call from Ellen thanking me for taking such good care of Skidz for the last three years and that she just loves him so much and he is the greatest dog. She also told me that if I was ever in Murray that I could stop by and see Skidz anytime. She is the nicest lady and I am so glad I found her for Skidz. I can't tell you how happy this makes me to know that Skidz will be loved and taken care of. Ellen said that she just absolutely loves coming home to Skidz and having Skidz so happy to see her. Ellen needed Skidz much more than we did. Nights are hard because I am so used to Skidz near me, but its also a lot easier with only one dog. I think Alex has finally realized that SKidz is missing. He goes around saying Skidz, Skidz.
