This picture was taken April 18, 2007, after Alex had his first bath at the hospital. It was a very long day. I was induced at 7:00AM and then around 5:30 started pushing and by 6:45 was taken in for a C-Section. I was so tired and so ready for this baby to come out. He was born at 7:36PM weighing 9lb 3oz. and 21 inches long. When he first came out he wasn't breathing (which I didn't know until after, when Mike told me). He loved his binki and was such a good baby. I miss this stage, but am having so much fun with an almost 2 year old (yes, we are already in the terrible 2's). That's another post though!

So cute! I don't remember him loving a binky? I DO remember holding him for the first time. Can't believe he is almost 2!
