Pony Rides and Goat POOP!
On Monday Grandma Sheri took Alex and I to Gardner Village to the Petting Zoo. We first did the Pony Ride which Alex LOVED...he rode the pony twice and cried when he had to get off. We also went to the Petting Zoo and were able to walk around and pet the goats and other animals. Alex just would go right up to the animals. It was fun! I have to admit...the goats kind of scared me. We were petting this one goat and he pooped and I don't know if you've ever seen goat poop ( I hadn't) but their like tiny pellets...well I guess Alex must have thought it was a raisin and picked it up and was ready to put it in his mouth. I hurried and caught it and he cried (I think I scared him more than anything), then a few minutes later he picked up another one and smooshed it in his hand..so back to the sanitizer we went. After we went to lunch at Archibalds...and let me tell you...me and Sheri were exhausted when we left there. Alex was being such a pill. We took turned eating while the other one walked around with Alex. Then we walked around Garnder Village w/ Alex in the stoller and he was fine. Go Figure! After Gardner Village we went and visited Grandma & Grandpa Anderson. Grandpa had a turtle that moved and sung and Alex would dance every time. It was cute! We sure love those guys! Then we went and visited Grandma Ellen and Alex sure enjoyed the M&Ms. Thanks Grandma. We had a full day. We got home and I put Alex down for a little nap before I had to go to our HOA meeting. Here are some pictures from our adventurous day.
